King Khan Celebrates His ‘Knights’
In a heartfelt post, Shah Rukh Khan congratulated his team for their spectacular performance. “And CPL is ours. Awesome grit and play my boys from @TKRiders,” he wrote. “Each one of you have given your heart and soul for this tournament. Congratulations.”
Regretting that he couldn’t be there in person for the celebrations, SRK promised to join the team “next time round for sure,” adding that he needs the “Trini party.” He ended his post with a jubilant “5 Times champ!!! Love u all.”
A Nail-Biting Final And A New Record
TKR’s victory was a thrilling one, secured in a nail-biting final against the Guyana Amazon Warriors on September 21. The team won by three wickets, with Akeal Hosein hitting the winning runs. The win also marked a special milestone for TKR captain Kieron Pollard, who clinched his 18th T20 title, overtaking the team’s head coach, Dwayne Bravo, who holds 17. This friendly player-coach rivalry has become a fun talking point for fans.
It’s All Happening For The Khans
The CPL win is just one of many reasons for the Khan family to celebrate. Back in Bollywood, the buzz is sky-high for SRK’s next film, King. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the 2026 action-thriller is one of the most anticipated films and will mark the theatrical debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan, who will star alongside her father.
Meanwhile, his son Aryan Khan is also earning praise for his directorial debut, the gritty Netflix series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. With glowing reviews and strong viewership, the show has further cemented the Khan family’s powerful presence in the entertainment industry.
