The pre-sales for the film are about 30 percent higher than other releases this year like Param Sundari and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. However, the initial momentum was slightly affected by showcasing issues in national chains earlier in the week.

With moderate advance sales, the film’s performance on Friday will be driven by the walk-in audience. The primary goal for Jolly LLB 3 is to cross the double-digit mark and earn over ₹10 crore on its first day. A good benchmark is this year’s Sitaare Zameen Par, which sold nearly 50,000 tickets in advance and went on to collect ₹10.50 crore on its opening day. The closer Jolly LLB 3 gets to that pre-sale figure, the better its chances are for a strong start.

Jolly LLB 3 is getting a wide release on about 3,500 screens across India and has a runtime of 2 hours and 37 minutes. Ultimately, the film’s success will be determined by its content. It is being seen as a “Saturday film,” meaning a strong jump in collections on the second day, fueled by positive audience reviews, is crucial. A 60 percent surge on Saturday would set it up for a healthy opening weekend. Given director Subhash Kapoor’s strong track record, the hope is that the film’s story will resonate with viewers and ensure steady footfalls.
